About Us

AR Projects was founded in October 2020 to address food insecurity in London. After Stefan Jones, our founder, lost his mother to drug addiction and homelessness, he and our team set out to provide support to those in need. In our first year, we realised that many Londoners face difficult situations, including poverty and drug addiction. As a result, we registered as a Community Interest Company (not-for-profit) in December 2021 to reach more people and provide our services to them.

Today, we provide warm meals and essential supplies to hundreds of people every week through our three soup kitchens, which act as portable hubs. These hubs have allowed us to become a true pillar in the communities where we work, supporting those in need in various ways, including food, clothing, hygiene, mental health, and more. In addition, we provide a virtual food bank that is of great help to the working poor. This allows recipients to select the items they need and collect them from one of our various hubs.

We also run a homeless outreach twice a week, we aim to help those sleeping on the streets in the Croydon community.

We believe that everyone deserves a safe place to call home, and we work tirelessly to provide it to those who need it the most.

OUR VISION

At AR, our vision is to build a community where everyone has access to basic necessities and can live with dignity. We believe that no one should have to go without food, shelter, or clean water, and we are committed to working towards a world where these basic needs are met for all.

Our mission is to support those in need and help them on their journey through life. We are dedicated to serving the homeless and low-income communities in London and beyond, providing them with the support and resources they need to thrive. We believe in the power of community and work to build strong, supportive networks that uplift those who are struggling.

We also recognise the importance of sustainability and strive to make our projects environmentally responsible. We believe that sustainability and social responsibility go hand in hand, and we are committed to ensuring that our projects have a positive impact on both people and the planet.

At AR, we are more than just a soup kitchen. We are a community of passionate and dedicated individuals who share a common goal: to make the world a better place, one person at a time.
