Twice a week our black tent goes up on the streets of Croydon. We serve hot meals and give out surplus food to anyone who comes, 70 to 100 people a night.
Every Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm.
How the evening goes

The queue starts to form
People gather near the black AR Projects tent. Join the end of the line while our volunteers set up.
First visit only
A quick sign-up
Two minutes and a few basic details, and you get a fob to keep. Do it when you arrive, or beforehand to save time.

Service begins
Two team leaders run every session, with volunteers plating up hot food fresh on the night.
At the table
You collect your food
A hot meal, drinks and snacks, plus surplus food to take home. It's a takeaway service, so you're handed your food to go.
From then on
Tap in and go
Tap your fob any Tuesday or Thursday and you're straight through. Everyone in that line is treated the same.

- Sign up once, on your first visit. It takes about two minutes.
- Come as often as you need.
- Children are welcome with an adult. They can't come on their own.
